Sani people, a branch of the Yi ethnic minority from Shilin County (Stone Forest), displayed the Yi calligraphic works and traditional embroideries during 27-30 October when CITM 2011 kicked off. Folk artists from the Stone Forest of Kunming also played Yi ethnic musical instruments such as Yueqin Instrument and Sanxian (Three-stringed guitar of the Yi people) to showcase the Sani ethnic culture.
