Day 01: Kunming-Stone Forest (2h)
*Drive to the Stone Forest from Kunming
The Stone Forest is noted for karst formations in Shilin Yi Autonomous County, approximately 85 km from Kunming. Scenic spots there include the Major & Minor Stone Forests, Naigu Stone Forest, Zhiyun Cave, Qifeng Cave, Lake Changhu, Lake Yuehu and Dadieshui Waterfall.

Day 02: Stone Forest –Jianshui (4h)
*Drive to Jianshui in the morning.
Jianshui is a 1200-year-old town with a vast collection of historical heritages. It boasts over 100 architectures built in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, 50-odd arched ancient bridges, and quite a few old residences that were built in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
Visit in Jianshui to the Confucius Temple, Chaoyang Gate, Family Zhu’s Garden and the Ancient Wells.

Day 03: Jianshui-Yuanyang (4h)
*Drive to Yuanyang in the morning
Yuanyang is now attracting more and more domestic and overseas tourists for its unparalleled terraced paddies and diversified ethnic cultures of the Hani, Yi, Dai and Yao etc.
Check in at the local hotel before driving out to appreciate the sunset at Laohuzui and Panzhihua.

Day 04: Yuanyang
*Visit in and around Yuanyang to the terraced paddies at Shangguanping, Duoyishu and Bada. Visit also to the local markets.
The Hani Minority in Yuanyang has been renowned for creating a harmony between man and nature in the village, forest, river and terraced paddies. Populated 1.3 million in Yunnan, the Hanis single out themselves in their traditional costumes with silvery accessories and mud brick houses roofed with pine leaves that resemble mushrooms when looked from a distance.

Day 05: Yuanyang-Hekou (3h)
* Visit Qingkou Hani Ethnic Village and then drive to Hekou County.
Hekou is situated at the border between China and Vietnam. It is the hometown of the Yao Minority.

Day 06: Vietnam
*In the morning, you will go through the exit formalities in Hekou for onwards tour in Vietnam. You will be met by Vietnamese guide.
