Samaba is located in the southern part of Honghe County. The 10,000 mu terraced fields of the Samaba are located in Baohua Township, 38 kilometers away from the county. The terraces have a total area of more than 14,000 mu, with more than 4,300 terraces, with a minimum elevation of 600 meters and a maximum elevation of 1,880 meters. According to historical records, the terraced fields in Honghe County have a history of more than 700 years.

Recently, the 10,000 mu of terraced fields in Samaba, Honghe County,  have entered the best viewing period, then we will go to see the beauty there.

The terraces have different scenery in different seasons, but the best time to view the terraces is from November to March each year.
