As the core area of the origin of tea plants in the world, Yunnan is also the origin of some kinds of famous tea such as the Dianhong black tea and the caffeine-free Puerh tea. The tea industry is one of the traditional, characteristic industries in Yunnan Province, and the large-scale industry is widely developed in most parts of the province.
