A total of 12 self-service flight check-in stations have all been opened to use in the city proper of Kunming as of 1 January 2016, greatly facilitating the check-in process for passengers who take departure at the Changshui Airport.

 

These 12 self-service check-in stations are set at the Airport Express stops, which are as follow:
Nanjiang Hotel (West Inn at Xiaoximen)
Ziteng Hotel (Xinying Residential Quarter)
Jinjiang Hotel (Beijing Road)
Kunming Railway Station
Jialuda Hotel (South Ring Road)
Nanyao Jewelry Market (Nanyao Hotel)
Kunming Hotel (Dongfeng Road)
Kunming West Bus Station
Wujiaba (the old airport)
Zhongyu Hotel (Kunming Intl Convention & Exhibition Centre)
Kunming South Bus Station (Luosiwan Trade Town)
Expo Garden Hotel (Kunming Horti-Culture Expo Garden)

 

Passengers who have bought the air tickets (except Spring Airlines and China United Airlines) can check in at any of these stations and make information inquiry by calling 0871-67088999.

 

What if in a hurry?  
For passengers in the city who haven’t checked 2 hours before the estimated time of departure, they can check in to get the boarding cards at any of these stations for which airport has arranged dedicated SECURITY CHECK gates No. 18-21. 

 

Luggage check-in
After checking in and getting the boarding cards in the city, passengers can do the LUGGAGE check-in at the airport counters which are:

For domestic flights (except China Eastern Airlines)
